Nov 03, 2009 (Datamonitor via COMTEX News Network) -- US-based coffee company Starbucks has announced the opening of a new store at Palm Springs International Airport, California, reported KESQ.com.
According to the news source, the new coffee shop is part of the airport's terminal improvement plans in which it has reportedly invested $25 million.
The airport has also announced the opening of La Brea Bakery, Zia Juice and a seasonal wine bar, which are likely to be opened by the end of November 2009.
Thomas Nolan, the airport's executive director, was quoted by the news source as saying: "The Starbucks is one of the great new additions to our airport food and beverage concession program designed to elevate the level of service to our traveler."
